Understanding the Scale
- CowFactor 0: No farm animals due to terrain – deep forests, mountains, urban areas, or other non-agricultural environments
- CowFactor 1-2: Suburban areas or rural edges with minimal agricultural presence
- CowFactor 3: Mixed terrain with moderate farm activity
- CowFactor 4: Rural routes with frequent farms and livestock
- CowFactor 5: Maximum agricultural immersion – cows, farms, tractors, and rural charm everywhere!
What Counts Toward CowFactor?
Our CowFactor rating considers:
- 🐄 Livestock sightings: Cows, horses, sheep, goats, pigs
- 🏡 Farm buildings: Barns, silos, farmhouses
- 🌾 Agricultural land: Crop fields, pastures, orchards
- 🚜 Farm equipment: Tractors, hay bales, farm machinery
